Volunteers of Namma Mysore foundation, Friends for wildlife and Orange County resorts helped Forest Department in clearing plastic and solid waste along Kabini backwaters bordering Gundre range of Bandipur side. About 150 volunteers and staff participated and approximately 40-50 tons (550 bags) waste was collected and sent to recycling at Namma Mysore foundation plant, Mysore.
