17th July . Nagarhole National Park , Karnataka . One month long special training for elephants of Ramapura elephant camp was held in Nagarhole National Park . All the elephants of the camp were trained for getting into truck and for rescue operation. The elephants from Dubare camp and Matthigod camp along with their mahouts participated as trainers . Chief Conservator of Forests Takhat Singh Ranawat and Park Director Mahesh participated in closing ceremony .
