16.06.2021 Dharwad , Karnataka . Forest Staff of Dharwad Range apprehended four accused while illegally transporting 250 kilos of sandalwood in an alto car escorted by one pulsar bike . Team was lead by Range Forest Officer R S Uppar . Shri M M Talluru , Shri P D Mankuru , Vittala , Jhony , Raghu , Kuriavara , Kallapa , Kangar Chand , Bhasha Mulla, Bassapa , Karadi , Naveen , Kyrakatti, Gaviswamy participated in the operation . Sandalwood was being transported to Sandal Oil Factory situated on Karnataka Andhra border in Anantapur District . Manager of the factory who was accompanying the consignment was also caught . This catch is result of information being followed from earlier huge sandal catches being transported to te same factory .
